Atlanta Symphony Premieres The Sacrifice of Isaac

May 16 and 18, 2024, the Atlanta Symphony and conductor Robert Spano will give the world premiere of Jonathan Leshnoff’s oratorio, The Sacrifice of Isaac alongside Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.

Commissioned by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Robert Spano, Music Director, made possible through The Robert Spano Fund for New Music, established by The Antinori Foundation, Eileen Williams and Judah Gudelsky, Patricia Werthan Uhlmann in loving memory of her husband, John Weil Uhlmann.

Co-commissioned by 2 other major symphony orchestras, whose names will be released as they make their season announcements.
